abandoned beauty

There's a special kind of beauty in the reclamation of a building by nature. Drive through any small Midwestern town and you're reminded of the past in the peeling painted murals, cracked window panes, and ivy covered walls of these relics from another time. It's one of my favorite things about my little town, the melding together of old and new, and the repurposing of these to make them into something wonderful.
